Pulled off for fuel near Council Bluffs around 2pm and a kid in the next lane had a bumper sticker that was the spittin' image of the sunburst from Gabriel's broadcasts. Same rays, same angles, I'd bet my rig on it.

Now I ain't sayin' it was HIM, could be somebody else got the same symbol out there. But I been on the road twenty years and I never seen that sunburst on nobody's bumper before. First time. Kinda thing that makes a man think

Anybody else seen the sunburst out in the wild on somethin' that ain't a broadcast screenshot?

The sunburst is spreading BECAUSE the signal is dying When the source goes silent the echo takes over. 1:47 PM and you saw it at 2pm. That's a 13 minute drift from the anchor point. PREPARE NOW.

Did you get a plate or just the sticker? (*author's note* chapter fourteen depends on the transit vessel maintaining its coordinate integrity between sightings)

because if the bumper sticker is the only proof then the narrative is drifting and i need to know if we are tracking the vessel or just the echo of the vessel which is a different kind of chapter entirely. 2pm is fourteen minutes past the anchor but fourteen minutes is just enough time to reset the frequency if the kid knows what he is carrying.

Was the kid looking at his phone or staring straight ahead at 2pm. That matters. If he was looking at a screen at 13 minutes past the anchor he might be a node. Did he see you looking.
