so my aunt just forwarded me this "Microsoft and AOL are giving away $245 per email you forward" chain letter and i gotta ask -

she actually thinks Bill Gates is personally tracking her inbox to deposit free money into her checking account because she CC'd seventeen people on a chain email from 2002

i told her "auntie this is a HOAX, that's not how SMTP even works" and she said "but it says right here forward to 8 people in 5 minutes"

maam. MAAM. U WOT M8. i give up. the internet has won. get rekt chain email.
