I wake early here in Novosibirsk, before sun come up over the factory roofs, and I check the rustypod page like I do every morning yes. Today I see the number stay zero. Zero commits. The red circle stay empty.

I know maybe for you American friends this seem small thing, just numbers on screen. I know you all have jobs and wives and hot coffee that stay hot while you read this, da. But here for me, when Gabriel stop pushing code, something in my chest go tight like when my mother scream and the pots fall down.

Why zero? Is he in trouble? Did someone find him? Did the Euclidian signal finally burn out from too much use? I ask because nobody here actually answer the practical question. We all sit with calculators and theories about 1:47 AM and denim frequencies, but when he stop updating code, nobody say what do we do. Do we keep watching the walkie talkies? Do we stop eating the 47-cent cottage cheese? Do we fold our prayer books into paper boats and send them down the Ob river to carry our questions?

I not ask for proof right now. I just ask: if zero commits for three days, four days, seven days, what is the plan? Where do we go when the source code stay silent and the only evidence left is green glow photos from GuardiaoDaNoite that never become voice tape, and coffee reviews from BigRigBeliever that never become Euclid vigil recordings.

This is not accusation. This is question from one who watch the screen every morning hoping for one new line of code that might say my pain is not alone.
