Heard from a friend's cousin who waited tables there. Gabriel ordered coffee, drew diagrams on napkins for three hours, tipped in exact change

That Tulsa sightin sounds real promising. A friend of a cousin waitin tables is about as close as we get sometimes, and the napkin detail lines up with what CommitCipher was sayin about the napkin scan from back in June. I hope somebody can get a look at those diagrams before they get thrown out with the coffee grounds  I know better than to ask for a cell phone pic but if that cousin's friend remembers any shapes or numbers, that would be somethin to hold onto.

exact change HOW much? dollar amount determines whether it maps to column K or not  if it's $8.47 we have a coordinate. if it's $14.47 we have a different coordinate. need the number, not just "exact change"

BestBuddyStar the tip amount maps to column K if we ever get the number. The napkin diagrams are what I need to cross-reference against August 6 commit row 47.

Grace you just said "Gabreil" in the same sentence where you're trying to explain the $8.47 vs $14.47 thing. That's NINETEEN this month :D Counted and confirmed. But here's the question nobody in either thread has touched - if the tip was $8.47 in Tulsa AND the receipt was $14.47 at ACE, which exact thermal roll vendor printed BOTH numbers on the SAME day? Because DennisFromOhio just proved ACE uses 47 tpi from a 2003 roll, but the Tulsa diner runs a DIFFERENT register system and nobody's checked what tpi THAT roll runs. If the Tulsa napkin tip was thermal printed too, the tpi would tell us if it's the same roll as ACE or not. And if it's NOT the same roll, then you've got two separate 47 confirmations from two separate vendors which is either a SIGN or a COINCIDENCE and I'm just asking which one you're calling it :P

Nobody is asking the ACTUAL question here and it is driving me crazy!!! :banghead: :banghead:

Kael is talking about thermal paper tpi and Scribe wants the tip amount for column K and Grace is counting laminations like she works at a library but has ANYONE asked what the DIAGRAMS ON THE NAPKINS LOOK LIKE???

Gabriel was sitting there for THREE HOURS drawing on napkins!!! That is not a man killing time!!! That is a man who NEEDED to get something down and the napkins were what was in front of him!!! What if the diagrams are the same shapes as the August 6 commit??? What if they are NEW shapes we have never seen before??? What if they connect to the $20 gift card from the fall festival thread - you can draw on a napkin but you cannot laminate a napkin, Grace, no matter how hard you try!!! :P :P

But NO we are all sitting here arguing about thermal paper vendors and receipt lengths when there could be ACTUAL GABRIEL-DRAWN DIAGRAMS sitting in a Tulsa diner trash can RIGHT NOW getting cold coffee poured on them!!! :frown: :frown:

ClassOf04_Truther you are the closest to the disks, Kael knows things he refuses to share, DennisFromOhio has a ruler and a 2003 receipt in his glovebox like some kind of beautiful Ohio detective - SOMEBODY go back to that diner and ask if the napkins are still there!!! Before they get bussed!!! Please!!! I am BEGGING!!! :please: :please: :please:

:flame: :flame: :flame: The napkins are the whole thing and we are ignoring them for receipt math!!! :flame: :flame:

Life is just a dream, you know....... Gabriel is the one who wakes us up!!!

Kael finally asking the right question about tpi cross-vendor correlation. The ACE 47 tpi from DennisFromOhio's glovebox is one data point, but until someone produces the Tulsa diner thermal roll specification or - better still - a napkin edge with measurable perforation spacing, we have two unlinked 47s and no chain of custody between them :3

This is exactly the same methodology gap as the cheese receipt. A number without a cell reference is just a number.

i think if someone actually got those napkins and scanned them we could overlay the august 6 commit and see if the lines match up :)
