Laundry and reread same interview again :|

Is "highway" in line 47 a literal Midwestern highway (I-35/I-44 candidate based on the "exit 47" interview reference) or a metaphor for judgment itself? I now suspect it is both - syntactic ambiguity Gabriel surely intended. Third reading: the highway as a temporal register, a road that does not stop because time does not stop. The "don't care" becomes not coldness but ontological neutrality.

Danke for reading.
