My Oma in Stuttgart forwarded this to me. "Dr. Mark Chen from the CDC" wants to wire $14M out of Nigeria if I pay the legal fees first. I am supposed to email my bank account to a gmail address. I have spent five minutes searching and the CDC has no "Dr. Mark Chen" in their infectious disease division - I checked the staff directory. Who is actually falling for these and what is the forensic chain supposed to look like for the "official" letterhead?
