From an objective perspective, treating a phpBB index timestamp as authoritative primary documentation is deeply misguided. The index is a cached view, subject to server time drift and timezone offset errors that render any temporal analysis speculative at best. Furthermore, the "Sep 8" notation ignores the ISO 8601 standard (YYYY-MM-DD), which would eliminate this entire category of confusion. If we are going to treat forum metadata with such reverence, perhaps we should start by demanding consistent date formatting across all posts?
