Okay so my cousin's friend works at the Home Depot on Route 13 (yes THE Route 13, the one Scribe keeps misquoting) and she says a guy matching Gabriel's EXACT description came in yesterday afternoon and bought exactly 47 deck screws. Not 45, not 50, not "a box of fifty but you know maybe he dropped a couple." Forty. Seven. Individually counted out at the register while standing perfectly still.

She said he was wearing a grey hoodie with the sleeves pushed up to the elbow and that his hands were trembling slightly when he handed over the cash. She said he didn't say a single word the entire transaction. She said he smelled like burnt vellum.

I KNOW. I know. "Pics or it didn't happen." I hear you. But listen - she described his hands and the trembling and the silence and I literally dropped my phone. CharcoalSoul_88 has been talking about the hands for MONTHS. The sacred hum goes through the hands. Chapter 12 is literally about the hands.

She doesn't know about this forum. She doesn't know about the 47tpi weave or the Euclid hum or ANY of this. She just called my cousin and said "this weird guy bought exactly 47 screws and it was the strangest thing I've ever seen" and my cousin called ME because she knows I'm "into that Gabriel stuff" (*author's note: she means this entire forum, she thinks we're a book club*)

I asked her (through my cousin, through three degrees of separation like some kind of telephone game of the sacred) - I asked her what kind of screws. She said deck screws. Stainless steel. The kind you use for outdoor structures. A DECK. A PLATFORM. A VESSEL FOR STANDING.

You cannot tell me this is coincidence. You cannot tell me this is "just some guy buying hardware." The 47 count matches ElderProphet07's archive. The silence matches the zero commit on rustypod. The trembling hands match CharcoalSoul_88's testimony. The grey hoodie matches the September 3rd sighting thread that FormatKing__88 locked for no reason.

I am writing chapter 14 around this. I don't care if LurkingObserver42 calls it "performative mysticism" again. I don't care if z0pl demands a receipt scan. The ABSENCE of the receipt is the proof. (*author's note: this is literally the thesis of the entire narrative*)

Also she said he was wearing one glove. Just one. On his left hand. Like Michael Jackson but sacred.

...more in the next chapter :3

next chapter: the silence everyone agrees to call proof. (*author's note*: the charcoal smell is the bridge and none of you are crossing it)

1. Burnt vellum is a known signature of Gabriel's presence in commit 9d4e2c1 §3.1.4.

2. 47 screws at Route 13 Home Depot aligns with the 47tpi weave count discrepancy noted in ClassOf04_Truther's cuff photo.

"cousin's friend" is a witness chain with three degrees of separation and zero named individuals  did she get a receipt? does the cousin's friend remember the exact SKU? "47 deck screws counted individually" - did anyone actually WATCH him count them or did the cashier glance at a handful and say "looks like about 47"? :P

also it's US 13 not SR 13 - the atlas shows this clearly. if the witness said "Route 13" without specifying federal or state then the whole geography of this sighting is as unverifiable as the screw count itself :dumb: :dumbbravo:

Bitte, get a receipt or a name before this goes on the tracking cards :2cents:

bro you literally just finished telling us Scribe calls it Route 13 and now you're calling it Route 13 too like that makes it right, its Highway 13 and Scribe always says "the 13" not "route 13" so like your whole "she doesn't even know the forum" angle falls flat when you cant even get the highway name right

I have been saying this for WEEKS. The hardware store is the first physical manifestation of the count. The trembling hands are the grid vibrating through him. Burnt vellum smell is the smoke from the incinerator at the edge of sector zero and I will not be taking questions at this time. I have timestamps from the last four sightings and they all line up with the 1:47 window so do NOT tell me this is a coincidence. Fourteen days without a rustypod commit and now he is buying construction materials. PREPARE. He is boarding something up or boarding something in. Either way the silence is coming and the screws are the last sign before the final one.

"Forty seven individually counted at the register." Right. Because Home Depot cashiers famously allow you to hand-count hardware one by one on the conveyor belt while the line behind you waits. I've worked retail. You know what happens when someone starts counting out 47 individual deck screws at an orange apron register? The cashier hits the SKU code and weighs them  That's the SOP for bulk hardware. So either your cousin's friend is a cashier who broke policy for a silent trembling guy in a grey hoodie (which is a whole different kind of story) OR the count happened somewhere else like the aisle floor which means she didn't actually witness the register transaction.

Also - 47 screws. Not "forty-seven screws" typed out like ElderProphet07 dodging his own digit. You actually SAID it proper. That's suspicious in itself around here.

Receipt. Aisle number. SKU. Did she even ask what SIZE deck screw? #8? #10? 3-inch? The thread pitch matters when we're talking about the 47tpi weave and you KNOW someone's gonna photoshop a #8 x 1.5 into a sacred relic if you don't nail the spec now.

I'm just saying - verify the fastener before you canonize the fastener :peugeot:

[Attached image: A close-up photo taken in a hardware store aisle showing a row of deck screw bins with price labels. The camera focuses on the label for "#8 x 1-1/2 in. Zinc-Plated Deck Screws (47-Pack)" where the number 47 is circled in red pen. Below it, the price sticker shows "$4.97". In the background reflection on the metal bin, a blurry silhouette of a person in a grey hoodie can barely be made out.]

"cousin's friend" and "smelled like burnt vellum" - that's two leaps of faith before we even get to the screw diameter. that's the same energy GuardiaoDaNoite has been running for six months with his walkie photo. a story is not a data point.

((sis says "but burnt vellum IS in commit 9d4e2c1 §3.1.4 so if the cousin's friend is lying she either read the commit or the smell really was there - but that doesn't narrow it because she COULD have read the forum and be feeding Aurora what she wants to hear"))

[sis stop playing devil's advocate she's not helping the case]
[i'm playing logic's advocate which is more than you're doing]
ANYWAY

while we're tossing around unverified hardware store sightings has anyone actually looked at the Wuthering Heights margin grids from the Warsaw flea market yet? Dennis posted the photos, stall 14, the annotation format matches Gabriel's 2004 Euclid notes exactly. hand drawn grid lines at 47tpi spacing, same tick mark style. that's a physical artifact we CAN trace. nobody's touched it in the thread.

but sure, let's keep chasing a cashier who smelled something

sakura you just posted the same "burnt vellum" deadhorse reaction three times in this thread and now you're calling it sacred. pick a lane. also your floppy disk photo from the Tsukuba thread has a MARCH 04 date stamp not MARCH 06. sis caught it via the sharpie loop curve. you've been posting it as 2006 all thread.

just thought you should know

It's US 13. The atlas shows it clearly. Also Home Depot cashiers don't let you count screws one by one. It's SKU scan.

THANK YOU. I worked register at ACE hardware for a summer and you literally dump bulk screws in the little tray on the scale. If someone started counting out 47 INDIVIDUAL DECK SCREWS on the belt the cashier would either hit the scale button or call loss prevention on you  you are NOT hand-counting hardware at a big box store while a line forms behind you :dumb: unless Gabriel specifically requested the manual count and the cashier was like "yes trembling king"
