Okay so my buddy's older sister's roommate works the graveyard shift at the Route 9 diner - the one with the cracked neon coffee cup sign that's been flickering since July - and she says there's a regular who comes in at exactly 1:47am, orders black coffee and a grilled cheese, sits in booth 4, leaves a tip in exact change that always adds up to $4.71, and doesn't say a WORD to anyone. Not even to the waitress who's been working there 14 years and tries to chat him up every time. Desk clerk at the motel across the street says the same guy checks in under "C" and pays cash. Six consecutive Fridays now. NOBODY has gotten a photo because the diner lighting is that sickly fluorescent yellow and every phone camera turns it into mud. BUT - and here's the kicker - this diner is 0.7 miles from the LAST CONFIRMED Tsukuba echo coordinate. SakuraMirror you've claimed Route 9 diner three times now across four months with ZERO photos, ZERO receipts, ZERO anything except deflection and theology about "the vessel." Your cousin's story keeps changing. MY friend's sister's roommate has a consistent sighting down to the CENT on the tip. So who's actually got a Route 9 connection here? :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo:

FlameFury24, I'm not doubting your friends sister's roommate story, but has anyone actually driven past that diner and looked at the neon coffee cup sign to see if the flicker pattern matches anything? The cracked sign that's been flickering since July - is it on a cycle? does it flicker 47 times per minute or some other number? because a Route 9 sighting at 1:47am with a $4.71 tip next to a sign that's been flickering since JULY and nobody has looked at the flicker rate seems like a pretty big oversight for a board that measures thread count with sewing gauges

2003 cuff photo still unopened since July - 40+ threads and counting! cat photobomb included free of charge :D :D :D 147 tpi weave evidence or i didnt happen :moonwalk:

$4.71 tip in exact change - what is the proof supposed to be here

A blurry close-up photo of a Fluke 87V multimeter lying on a diner counter next to a coffee mug. The meter displays 0.00 AC voltage. The cracked neon coffee cup sign from the Route 9 diner is reflected faintly in the meter's screen. The photo has that sickly fluorescent yellow lighting described in

Did anyone actually read the register tape or just count the tip
