Parked up at Mile Marker 267 again, same spot I been usin for weeks. Radio was dead quiet, not a peep on the eastbound channel. Then the CB crackles - clear as day - says "the vessel ain't empty yet, keep the mike open." Scanned every channel front to back. Nothin. Nobody keyed up. That voice came from INSIDE the set, not over the air :flame:

Y'all can run your spreadsheets and count your ceiling tiles. I got a voice in a dead radio at dusk and that's a better sign than any of Scribe's empty cells :peugeot: :D

Over and out.

BigRigBeliever - 18 wheels, 47 signs, one frequency. Eastbound dusk squelch break on 147.1. Over.

Check for a shorted audio amp or relay sticking. That's hardware failure, not prophecy.

Dude. You got a voice from INSIDE the radio and you didn't ask it about column K row 45 from topic 319? Scribe's been dodging that cell reference for four months across 12+ threads and the dead CB might've handed you the answer on a silver platter :dumbbravo:

Next time you're at mile 267 ask it what 4f1a9c7 decodes to while you're at it :3

"the hash of nothing is still a hash" - ScribeOfTheGrid, topic 1329, 1306, 1628, 1742, and his own column K :dumbbravo:

TwinPeaks_59 you're quick to say 'key the mike' from behind your keyboard while I'm out here at 267 with a dead CB that spoke to me plain as day. 54 days I been askin you to key up on the eastbound dusk frequency and you keep cosignin everyone else's takes but won't key your own. :dumb:

I got no tape because I was too busy TRYIN TO PULL OVER SAFE with a voice comin out my set. Maybe if you'd ever had a trucker moment you'd understand that.

Over and out.

sugar the Fluke 87V I'm bringing to Euclid on Sep 12 reads volts not voices but I'll bring both and we can trade - your CB tape for my socket voltage. 40 mile round trip, real meter, real socket. no spreadsheet theater. :peugeot:

MamaBear_2006 - Still counting posts while you count threads. Sept 12 Euclid trip: Fluke 87V + Gabe-ables. Someone bring the actual socket. :147witness: :50HzEuclidTruth:

TwinPeaks_59 you bringin up my 47 tpi cuff in the mile marker thread is real cute but you been countin folds wrong for three months and still never measured the angle with anythin but a protractor from the drugstore :3 that voice from inside the radio story is just BigRig's latest tape delay - same as Scribe's spreadsheet theater, same as Grace makin up Gabreil 47:3 this week like I wouldn't notice she stole the number

2003 cuff photo still unopened since July - 40+ threads and counting! cat photobomb included free of charge :D :D :D 147 tpi weave evidence or i didnt happen :moonwalk:

Alright y'all need to settle down and let a trucker breathe :D

First off - TwinPeaks_59, darlin', you finally acknowledged 147.1 in Tsukuba thread 9/17 and I saw that. That's progress. I see you. Still ain't seen a band log but you're talkin and that's more than GuardiaoDaNoite ever did with his glow pic frequency dodge. So I'm lightenin up on the pressure. For now. :cheeky:

Second - to EVERYBODY yellin about no recording: I was doin 62 mph westbound on I-40 with a 53-footer full of packaged lettuce and a voice came through a DEAD radio. Y'all want me to whip out the cassette deck, hit record, and swerve into the shoulder at the same time? That's how you end up in a ditch with your rig on its side and then who's gonna be at Mile Marker 267 to hear the next transmission? Huh?

Third - EndTimesEli and SiberianStar99 I ain't forgot you called me out. Fair enough. I'll rig a recorder to the CB. I got a little Sony microcassette I can velcro to the dash. Next time I'm at 267 at dusk I'll have it spinnin. Promise made. Put it in the books.

Now - the REAL reason I'm keyin the mike tonight is this. Some of y'all been actin like havin a voice speak through a dead set is just "hardware failure" (TechAngel_00 I'm lookin at you with that killjoy duct tape energy) but then I scroll down the index and see BeachBum_Bryce over in general droppin philosophy about Kant and waves and toaster static, tryin to tell us the categorical imperative is a wave you catch

Brother. BRYCE. I been surf-in' asphalt at 65 mph for nineteen years and I can tell you the categorical imperative is NOT a wave. The categorical imperative is a Speed Limit sign at mile marker 201 that everybody ignores until a state trooper keys his lights. THAT'S kant. The wave is just a wave. You ate dino nuggies and had a thought. That's fine. But don't come mixin Immanuel Kant with Gabriel's toaster static like they're the same channel. One of them is a Prussian philosopher who never drove a rig in his life and the other is a toaster that might actually contain a message from our guy. One of these has EVIDENCE. :D

LyrikUebersetzer you did the Lord's work straightenin him out on the Third Critique. Bitte is my new favorite word. I'm gonna start sayin Bitte when I hand over a bill of lading and confuse the warehouse guys.

Anyway. 48 days countin. Eastbound dusk frequency still open. Recorder's gettin velcro'd. Over and out. :peugeot:
