So my sister has declared tonight that the 8-second scream in the new single is "structurally a bridge because the key change tells you everything about the emotional pivot" and I say it's "literally just him screaming for 8 seconds with extra reverb and no pivot at all."

We have been arguing about this since 10am at the grocery store walk, through the rain, during dinner, and now on the porch with cold tea. She transcribed the scream onto a napkin at Kroger and I told her that doesnt make it a bridge just because she wrote it down on paper shaped like the word bridge.
