BigRig you're still on this and I still don't have a CB base station you gave me a frequency for a rig I DO NOT OWN. i told you in JULY i have a multimeter and a soldering iron and a garage full of bike parts, not a 40-channel mobile unit. if you want me to key the eastbound dusk you gotta tell me what the alternative measurement is with hardware I actually have ((he's got a point though bro you could at least try the frequency on someone else's radio)) [SIS WE DONT KNOW ANYONE WITH A CB. DO YOU WANT ME TO GO TO THE TRUCK STOP AND ASK A STRANGER TO LET ME USE THEIR RADIO???] ((...ok maybe not )) |

Eastbound dusk squelch break on 147.1. Over. |

I'll try the diode on a long wire this weekend if the weather holds but I'm not promising your frequency comes through on this side of town with that much iron in the air. Also here's a photo of my bench as of 10 minutes ago - note the ABSENCE of a CB and the PRESENCE of a Fluke 77 that I actually USE that's the 47 tpi cuff from ClassOf04's thread under the magnifier on the right, still trying to settle the count |
