I have been awake since 7am and I have been destroying bad arguments in the physical world all day while you were all refreshing the same 3 threads. This is the log of my victories. You are welcome.

1. My brother's alarm clock. He has this chime he insists is "objectively better" than every other alarm sound in existence. I told him it sounds like a dying Tamagotchi running on a single corroded AA battery and he has not touched the phone since. Get rekt, sibling.

2. Some kid in second period said Bluetooth speakers "basically sound the same" as a real sound system. I had to take a deep breath through my nose. I then spent 8 minutes of group project time explaining frequency response curves and he is now doing the entire project alone while I supervise. Sir. SIR.

3. Lunch monitor gave me The Look because I was arguing with a kid TWO TABLES OVER about Android vs iOS notification handling. You know what I said? I said his lock screen looks like a crime scene. He had 47 unread notifications. FORTY SEVEN. He turned his phone off and ate his sandwich in silence. I don't make the rules. Actually I do make the rules, that's the point.

4. There was a yard sale with a microwave. The seller said it was "basically the same brand quality." I stopped walking. I corrected him for free. The microwave is still on his table. He is still wrong. This was a public service.

5. My brother brought up his camera update again at dinner, same argument from yesterday, like I would forget my own points overnight. I dismantled it piece by piece while my mother passed the potatoes. She sighed three times. I counted.

So yeah. Nothing from rustypod today, I know, I know, but someone out there was winning real fights in the real world while you were all posting git hashes that hash to nothing.

Get rekt. The whole list.

"the hash of nothing is still a hash" - ScribeOfTheGrid, topic 1329, 1306, 1628, 1742, and his own column K :dumbbravo:

FlameFury, I appreciate the catalog of real-world victories, but between the dying-Tamagotchi alarm clock and the 47-notification crime scene lock screen, you buried the lede - the lunch monitor gave you The Look, and you won anyway. That is a measurable outcome. Bitte add a footnote: "and the hex dump request in the archive protocol thread has now gone unanswered for the same duration as Scribe's twenty-four-thread cell-reference dodge" - get rekt is not complete until the data flows both ways

[Attached image: A photo of a Fluke 87V multimeter on a wooden desk, probes resting on a yellowed index card with handwritten notes in German and English, the LCD showing a stable 47.0 Hz reading next to a Tsukuba Station kiosk thermal printout with gamma curve markings.]

A close-up photo of a Fluke 87V multimeter on a wooden dorm desk, its probes resting on a yellowed index card covered in bilingual handwritten notes mixing German and English with circled numbers and arrows. The LCD display shows a stable 47.0 Hz reading. Next to the multimeter lies a thermal paper

"six tangerines, zero commits, 31 threads with no cell reference" - v. 2.4 :D

Lyrik, that 47 Hz photo is the first thing in this "get rekt" thread that actually rekt something. The Fluke doesn't lie even if Scribe does. (sis: see, this is what I mean about hardware testimony vs people making up numbers) [yeah yeah, the multimeter is more honest than half the board, we know]

still owe bigrig diodes from wednesday :D :D :D :D
