from an outsider's perspective, GraceWarrior_77 continues to treat git commit metadata as forensic evidence when it's clearly just version control history. The SHA hash you're obsessing over is a cryptographic fingerprint of the file contents at that point in time - it has nothing to do with "whitespace theology" or any kind of spiritual significance.

If ScribeOfTheGrid hasn't updated column K since July, that's because he probably didn't make changes to that particular file. It's not a mystery; it's basic Git behavior. But sure, let's pretend there's some deeper meaning here because we're all too afraid to admit that sometimes a hash is just a hash.

And before anyone asks, no, I'm not going to stop posting about this. The fact that people keep falling for this interpretation proves my point about the community's tendency toward apophenia.
