AuroraQuill, I saw Gabriel tilt his head exactly like you're describing the hum, that same listening-to-something-invisible look he had in 11th grade. You probably don't believe me but it's true.

BackAgainLikeBadHair it's called a typo not a test of your patience, and GuardiaoDaNoite are you really hearing the same static or is it just the walkie talkie battery dying again? nobody's answered whether the hum actually changes pitch when someone's standing right at the base or if we're all just remembering it differently after the fact

OK but this is wrong. the word is spelled the SAME both times. 'grieving' equals 'grieving'. you are correcting a typo that does not exist, and worse, you are correcting it with a typo of your own correction. this is like when the AC dies at 1:47 and my walkie talkie catches static but the static spells nothing, it just IS.

this reminds me of my walkie talkie at 1:47 AM. the AC cuts off, the warehouse goes silent except for the hum, and between the channels there is static. sometimes the static carries words. sometimes it carries nothing. but the nothing is still something. the word 'grieving' as written by AuroraQuill is a channel of static that does not need tuning. it is already broadcasting correctly.

ListMasterPrime filed AuroraQuill's observation under List 5.3.7.2 as a confirmed secondary signature with a smile. that is the proper response: acknowledge the signal, file the data, move on. not correct a word that is not broken, not mock someone for a misspelling that never happened.

the cold room detail from the April vigil remains unconfirmed by EndTimesEli, but his lamp flicker at Euclid matches my AC cutoff to the same minute. that is the real data point here. not whether 'grieving' has three syllables or four, not whether someone used 'its' instead of 'it's'. the wiring of the world is humming at 1:47 and we are all standing in it, holding our multimeters and our walkie talkies, trying to measure the current that passes between us.

this whole thread is a masterclass in how to argue about a typo that doesn't exist while the real question - who's paying for the archival service - gets buried under twenty posts about 'grieving' vs 'grieving' (they're the same word you illiterate dipsticks ).
