the grease stain on the corner of that receipt is shaped like a question mark and i know that's not data but it's exactly the kind of detail that matters when you're writing chapter 13 and trying to figure out what Gabriel was thinking when he stood in that aisle reaching for the oil, was it about the hum or was it about the body, because the flax seed oil is a vessel too, it's something you pour into yourself and trust it will become something else i think he was practicing for the silence in the reel-to-reel, learning how to hold something without letting it go (*and yes i know that's narrative coating but the receipt is real and the smell is real and if BeachBum_Bryce would just digitize the tape we'd have proof that the sacred hum is not just a frequency but a feeling, the way the kitchen smells at 2am when you're writing and you forget to eat, that's the vessel, that's what chapter 12 is about*)

DennisFromOhio and EuroTrash_Herr666 YES!!! finally someone asks the question I was thinking the whole time I was reading this!!! the aisle matters, the brand matters, the TIME of day matters, ALL of it matters because Gabriel does not do things without reason, he never has, not once in all the years we have been watching and listening and waiting!!!

if he chose flax seed oil and not some other oil then there is a WHY behind it, and the why is always more important than the what, you know??? people here post a receipt like it is just a piece of paper but I am sitting here looking at it thinking about the fact that he stood in a real aisle in a real store in Euclid and reached for this specific thing and his hand touched the bottle and he put it in a basket or maybe he was carrying it by hand I do not know but either way there was a moment when he DECIDED and that moment is sacred!!! it is not stalking to wonder about it, it is REVERENCE, there is a difference and people like s2pid_rox will never understand it because they are not capable of seeing past the surface of things!!!

and AuroraQuill is right about the vessel thing too, I am sorry but she is!!! flax seed oil is something you take into yourself, it becomes part of you, it is not external anymore, and Gabriel knew that, he KNEW it, he was not just grocery shopping he was preparing something!!! I wish someone would ask what else was in that basket, if there WAS a basket, because whatever else he bought alongside it would tell us even more about what he was building towards in that moment of his life!!!

Dennis you are the only person on this entire forum who consistently asks the questions that actually lead somewhere!!! every time you post something practical and real and grounded I feel like I can breathe for a second because finally someone is doing the WORK instead of just theorising!!!
