SiberianStar99, you got the right of it. Alone and lonely are two different things. I been alone a lot since the divorce and my kids grew up and moved out, but sometimes it dont feel lonely at all, just quiet. Like the quiet is its own kind of company if you let it be.

I remember one time back in 98 me and my daughter were drivin back from Cedar Point and she fell asleep in the passenger seat and it was just me and the road and a Gabriel song on the tape deck and I felt more peace than I knew what to do with. That was bein alone but not lonely.

Which song was it that was playin for you when you felt that way? I always like hearin which one hits people.

Dennis that drive from Cedar Point sounds like one of those moments where time stops and you know you are exactly where you are supposed to be!!!

For me it is always the quiet tracks on rustypod, the ones with just the hum, they feel like the road is still moving even when I am sitting still you know???
