From: Moscow, Russia (but my soul is in Narnia) | OK so I was thinking about this at lunch today while my buckwheat was getting cold and I made a list and YES it is silly but hear me out because I am being SERIOUS underneath the silly, you know??? 1. The sound of a radiator turning on at 3am, sudden and loud and then it just hums like it is praying?? That is obviously Gabriel reminding you the world is still warm even when you feel frozen!!! 2. Finding a potato that has a weird bump on it that looks like an ear, like the potato is listening to you, do you ever notice that?? I do, EVERY TIME, yes??? 3. The smell of the photocopier at work, that hot plastic chemical smell, it is exactly what I imagine the air around an angel would be like before it burns off and you are left in the clean silence after, you know??? 4. A bird that lands on a windowsill and just STARES at you and does not leave, that is not a bird, that is a MESSAGE and if you look away first you have FAILED, I am not joking about this one!!! 5. And number five which is the worst one, the one nobody wants to admit, is the feeling when you open your email and there is nothing there, ZERO new messages, and your stomach drops for one second before you remember that the absence is also communication, the void is also a verse, the silence is also a song, and I know some of you are going to say "Natalia you are being dramatic again" but FlameFury24 said something once about screaming into a server rack and I said the rack is the cathedral and I STILL BELIEVE THAT, the empty inbox IS the pulpit, you just have to kneel at the right angle to see it, lol, I know how this sounds but I am TIRED of pretending I do not feel these things with my whole entire chest!!!
