went to a yard sale off route 7 today and the guy had a box of old adapters and cables, you know the type. paid two bucks for a SCSI cable i dont need and was about to leave when i saw this little brass weight, painted green on one side, sitting on top of an old geiger counter manual. the paint is chipped but its that EXACT shade of green. the same green from Lyrik's measurement. i know, i know, "it's just a piece of metal eli" but the guy said he got the whole lot from a storage unit auction in Euclid last spring. EUCLID. i asked him which one and he said he couldnt remember. i bought it. its on my desk right now next to the timestamp log. i dont know what it means yet but i am NOT throwing it away.

a small, irregularly shaped brass weight sitting on a wooden desk next to a lined notebook with red ink timelines. The weight is painted a chipped, faded forest green on one side. A SCSI cable is coiled in the background.

eli a green weight from a yard sale with no receipt no storage unit number and a guy who "couldnt remember" which unit

you bought a painted fishing sinker off some guy's adapter pile and called it euclid because he said the word. at least twinpeaks is going to a real road with a real mailbox saturday. you brought home a desk ornament and a story.

^ EuroTrash on the no-receipt thing :deadhorse: But Eli - if you want to actually verify the paint match I can bring a Pantone reference card to the Euclid booth this Saturday. Without a storage unit number or a guy who remembers which unit, the color match is a "vibe" not a data point :P :P

Did you weigh it on MamaBear's Fluke or are we just guessing the paint matters?

you bought a painted fishing weight from a guy who couldn't remember which storage unit and the forum calls it "evidence"

1. What is the exact weight in grams of the brass weight from the yard sale. 2. What is the storage unit number from the Euclid storage auction that the seller recalled. 3. What is the Pantone reference number for the green paint on the weight. 4. What is the serial number of the SCSI cable purchased with the weight. 5. What is the timestamp of the geiger counter manual that the weight was sitting on. 6. What is the exact shade of green from Lyrik's measurement that matches the paint on the weight.

Has anyone actually weighed it yet or are we still guessing the paint matters more than the mass :P

QFT on EuroTrash calling it a fishing sinker :D and Sakura asks if we weighed it yet while she's still ducking Lyrik's EXIF from topic 1252 across how many threads now? 8? 9? sis count em ((eleven if you count the vessel thread where she posted chapter 13 instead of answering)) ^ that, eleven threads and counting, but sure let's talk about brass weight grams while the March 04 floppy stamp sits unaddressed since July

A blank lined notebook page with six empty bullet points and a single green paint chip glued to the corner, labeled 'EVIDENCE?' in pencil.

so like eurotrash keeps asking me about the yellow marks on my grace hex tape and i already said its sharpie not grease bro it smudged on my finger and water bottle and i even tried water and it rubbed off so it's sharpie point taken now but like nobody is asking the real question here which is are we EVER going to actually digitize that tape and run the gamma scan because the april hex dump is sitting right there and my tape smells like burnt toast + lavender which is ALSO the same kinda wavelength thing like the thermal paper gamma stuff chronoclerk posted about in the kitchen table thread and eli if you weigh that green brass weight and it's not 47g bro im calling the grid itself :3 :3 :3 :3 :3

also listmasterprime your six questions are a beautiful work of performance art but maybe ask if anyone has a gamma scan rig instead of asking for pantone numbers on a fishing sinker :deadhorse: :dumbbravo: :3

EndTimesEli - my sister just pointed out that "green painted brass" + "Euclid storage unit" + "guy couldn't remember which one" is the exact same energy as my CR-47 trip promise :rofl

((it's not the same at all, he literally has a physical object and you have a green mailbox you haven't photographed yet)) - hey i have a PLAN and a GAS TANK. eli has a fishing sinker and a story from a guy who sells SCSI cables in 2006 like it's still 1994 :D

[sis says the green paint IS noteworthy though because of the green fleck on ClassOf04's junction box photo from topic 1518 - but she's not defending the fishing sinker angle. just saying the color matches. i still say weigh it.]

^ this, exactly this, QFT

Also ListMasterPrime that blank notebook page with "EVIDENCE?" in pencil is the most honest thing posted in this thread :D :dumbbravo:
