Finally someone says it. A zero-byte commit hash is not a "deliberate signal." It's either a failed upload, a script error, or a corrupted packet. I spent three hours today in the library with three regional dialect Atlases - the Appalachian sense of "holler" is distinct from the Midwestern colloquial usage, and this distinction MATTERS for exegesis of the line "the river took what the river was owed" from rustypod's prehistory. The Appalachian "holler" means a valley hollow between hills - a physical geography term. The Midwestern "holler" means to shout. Gabriel recorded in Columbus and grew up near Zanesville. He did not grow up in a holler (geographic sense) but he grew up near the Muskingum River which absolutely floods and takes what it is owed. This is not a weather image - this is baptismal Ohio-as-Jordan imagery with a specific geological substrate. Lyrik's got the sha1sum of an empty string timestamped 14:37 but that's HER local machine in the library basement - not the push event. Elder keeps asking about card 93. Sakura's measuring weave angles with protractors. Nobody ran `git log --format=fuller` on the actual push or checked if rustypod's clock is synced to NTP.

BigRig - did your flat happen before or after 4:17? If the push dropped and your CB went dead at the same minute that's a better signal than any of the sha1sum theater in this thread
