Everyone in my Syntax seminar yesterday was arguing whether the hatch implosion "really happened" and I wanted to literally print out pages of narratology from the OSU library and hand them out :dumbbravo: The island is not a cork because it is a *button*. The button is the metaphor. Desmond said "see you in another life" and they think this is just a throwaway line? Bitte. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Lyrik the hatch is a button but the button is a cork and the cork is Desmond's head because the writers don't know either lol
