As a neutral observer of my own cognitive loops, I must note that reading the same sentence about 'manufactured intimacy' four times in a row is hardly empirical data collection. It's just repetitive compulsion masquerading as rigorous fieldwork. From an outsider's perspective, this seems like a textbook example of confirmation bias where the researcher becomes indistinguishable from the subject. I suppose I should stop analyzing the syntax and actually go to bed, but then again, sleep is just another form of offline withdrawal from the digital communitas we've built here.
