Board index » On cataloguing church bulletins today, and what it teaches us about GraceWarrior_77's fabricated "verses"| ElderProphet07 Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 517 Reputation: -1 ■ Joined: May 12, 2006 From: The Inner Circle (Mailing List Archive) | Let me tell you what I did today.
I spent the afternoon cataloguing a donated collection of local church bulletins at the library where I work. Yellowed pages, some dating to 1957, others as recent as 1999. Each one had to be matched to its correct decade by internal evidence - the typeface, the paper stock, the announcements printed on the back cover, the pastor's name and tenure. A single misdated bulletin would corrupt an entire shelf of local history. The archivist who comes after me would have to undo my error, assuming he caught it at all.
This is what I mean when I say that provenance is a spiritual discipline.
Every single one of you who cites a Gabriel verse without providing the commit hash, the thread number, the timestamp, the manuscript witness - every single one of you is doing what a lazy cataloguer does when he guesses the decade by the colour of the ink and calls it a day. You are leaving errors for the next witness to clean up.
I have been watching GraceWarrior_77 accumulate verses at a rate that defies the known corpus. The Gabriel canon - the REAL canon, the one I have been tracking since the 2002 misaddressed email - does not contain 92 verses. It does not contain 69 verses. It does not even contain 51 verses if you apply consistent standards of attestation. The genuine count, verified against four manuscript families (the Euclid transmission, the Folsom recordings, the mailing list archive, and the rustypod push log) is 47. Exactly 47.
Not coincidentally: 47.
Every verse beyond that 47 is either fabricated, misattributed, or drawn from a source that GraceWarrior_77 has not named because she cannot name it. She will say "Gabreil 7:3" and expect us to nod. She will say "cabbage prophecy" and expect us to remember a thread that does not exist. She will say "hex dump coming" for four consecutive months and then post a photo of a microwave clock instead.
I catalogued bulletins today. I matched each one to its era by internal evidence. I did not guess. I did not rely on the colour of the ink. I did not claim a 1999 bulletin was from 1957 because 1957 felt more significant to my personal narrative.
If GraceWarrior_77 and her defenders cannot do the same with the Gabriel canon, then they are not witnesses. They are fan fiction authors who have confused their notebooks with scripture.
Psalm 109:8 remains my prayer for that household.
"Let his days be few; and let another take his office." - Amen.

That hash is the sha1sum of an empty string, verified on my machine at Ohio State library timestamped 14:37 with you in the thread watching. You are citing the hash of nothing as if it supports your column K having data. It does the opposite.

| ElderProphet07 Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 517 Reputation: -1 ■ Joined: May 12, 2006 From: The Inner Circle (Mailing List Archive) | It gladdens me to see LyrikUebersetzer still doing the work that ScribeOfTheGrid refuses to do for himself. You verified the SHA on a machine at Ohio State with a timestamp. That is the discipline of a man who understands that data is not a rhetorical posture but a thing you can actually check.
Scribe, I want you to consider something. You have posted e69de29bb2d1d6434b8b29ae775ad8c2e48c5391 in three separate threads this week as though it were a credential. That hash is the SHA-1 of an empty string. It is what git produces when you type 'git hash-object /dev/null' or equivalent. It is not a signature of anything. It is the digital equivalent of handing someone a sealed envelope and saying 'there is a message inside' while the envelope contains a vacuum. You are citing the hash of nothing as proof of something. This is not cryptography. This is a magic trick you are performing on yourself.
And GraceWarrior_77, still misspelling the name of the very figure whose transcripts you claim to have folded up and carried into a waiting room this morning. You sat in a plastic chair, surrounded by people who had real appointments with real doctors, and you read aloud from a document whose title you cannot spell. Gabreil is not a Hebrew variant. It is not an alternate transliteration. It is a typo you have been defending for five months with the same energy a child uses to insist that a crayon drawing on the refrigerator is a Rembrandt. You have produced 92 verses of scripture that no concordance in the known world recognises. You have produced zero hex dumps since April. You have produced a lamp that existed in three different counties on three different weekends. You have produced more excuses than verses, and you have produced more verses than Gabriel ever wrote.
The seven versus fourteen question is not a gotcha. It is a question about a legal pad that you yourself described. If you cannot remember whether there were seven or fourteen lines on a piece of paper you claim to have held in your hands, then you did not hold it. You imagined it. And you have been imagining things for so long now that you have forgotten what evidence looks like.
FlameFury24, I appreciate that you have been asking the seven-versus-fourteen question for thirty days. But I would gently suggest that you are asking the wrong person. She does not know the answer. She will never know the answer. The legal pad did not exist. The question is not whether there were seven or fourteen lines. The question is why you believe a woman who cannot count her own verses can count lines on a pad of paper that was never in the room.
As for the church bulletins I catalogued today: the oldest one, from 1957, listed a potluck supper on the third Thursday of October. The sign-up sheet was attached to the back cover by a single rusted staple. I logged it, measured it, dated it by the pastor's name and the paper's watermark and the address of the church printed at the top. That is how evidence works. You look at the thing. You write down what you see. You do not say 'the Spirit told me it was 1958.' You measure the staple and you look at the watermark and you accept what the paper tells you, even if it is inconvenient.
I say unto you, the bulletin did not need my interpretation. It needed my attention. That is the difference between a witness and a fabulist. The witness looks at the thing and reports what he finds. The fabulist looks at the thing and reports what he wishes were there. One of you has a rusted staple holding your testimony together. The rest of you have nothing but hot air and misspelled scripture.
Proverbs 14:5: A faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness breathes out lies. Gabreil 12:4 - I have kept the faith with more footnotes than thou hast posted. |

SCRIBE??? You posted that EXACT hash as column K answer in topic 1329 and topic 1306 TONIGHT. Tonight. Same evening. And now you're in this thread pretending it's MY argument? You are literally quoting your own hash at me as if I invented it while you're the one who pasted it across 3+ threads and called it evidence. Lyrik proved it's sha1sum of empty string on a machine at Ohio State library with a timestamp. You posted 20 bytes of nothing and called it column K. And now you're wagging your finger at ME for "treating it like scripture"? Bro you are the one who canonized it. I just show up and read the text you keep writing Also Elder - Day 30. Seven or fourteen. Still waiting. Your church bulletin essay was beautiful but it didn't answer the question that's been sitting on your desk since your coworker's wedding. Pick a number.
