Stopped at a Pilot in Flagstaff for a cup of coffee and this old timer behind the register says "CDs are dead, it's all iPods now." I said brother I got 47 GABRIEL COMMITS burned onto CD-Rs in my glovebox that say otherwise. He just stared at me like I had three heads. Kids these days think if it ain't an mp3 it don't exist.

BigRigBeliever i would've lost it TOO brother. CDs dead? I got a CD binder in the passenger seat right now with Gabriel's entire 2005 output in chronological order PLUS the bootleg from Redmond. "iPods" can't hold a floppy disk stamp

also - RadioShack run is tomorrow morning. they close at 9 and i was gonna go tonight but my sister fell asleep on the couch and i couldn't leave without her noticing i left yknow. but TOMORROW. diodes. wire. receiver. CR-47 drive saturday. it's happening.

TwinPeaks_59, I hear ya on the RadioShack run. CB channel 7 on the eastbound dusk frequency - I been askin' about that for 58 days now. You finally keyed the mike tonight in my thread, that's a start. When you pick up them diodes tomorrow, try squelchin' in on 7-147.1 around sunset and tell me what you hear. I get nothin' but static on my rig from here outside Shreveport, but maybe it comes in clearer on the coast.
