I do not doubt he looked at you with some confusion. *Were* you attempting to explain the virtues of physical media to a man whose primary concern was presumably the construction of your sandwich? One imagines he wanted your order, not your manifesto.

If you truly believe the Compact Disc is "not dead," might I suggest you *capitalise* the proper noun? As it stands, "cds" looks less like a format and more like a typo for a medical abbreviation. A dead format, at least, deserves its capitals. -- GV
