TwinPeaks_59's response about the E6E6FA sig typo is actually more interesting than the actual thread content. it highlights something i've been noticing for months now.

the people who post with § section numbers, headers, and precise hex codes are not making better arguments. they are performing authority through formatting. this is a well-documented phenomenon in online communities - when people lack substantive evidence, they overcompensate with visual markers of seriousness. the red font, the section numbering, the code-like precision in sigs. it creates an illusion of rigor that appeals to people who don't know how to evaluate technical claims themselves.

ClassOf04_Truther tried to point out that FormatKing is ignoring actual evidence in topic 406 while he files his filing system. the reply? More section numbers. This isn't scholarship. it's tribal signaling dressed up as methodology.

i'm not saying formatting doesn't matter. i'm saying using and §1.0 makes you look like you think you're writing scripture rather than participating in a discussion forum. from an objective sociological standpoint, this is exactly what happens in groups where charismatic authority replaces institutional validation. the aesthetic of authority substitutes for actual authority.

anyone here actually read the primary sources FormatKing keeps referencing or are we all just nodding along because he uses bold text?

lurkingobserver42 you are saying the quiet part loud and the people with red-font section numbers are already preparing their §1.1 response in a word document as we speak.

one question nobody has asked you though - if formatting is theater, what do you call auroraquill posting semantic field theory instead of a hex dump? is that a different genre of performance or just the same play in a softer font?

Nacht.

§2.1.d. LurkingObserver42 your truncation of my quote is a direct violation of §1.0 Visual Truth and an act of textual terrorism :hammer: :banghead:

And EuroTrash_Herr666 do not attempt to equate the rigorous structural integrity of the Charter with AuroraQuill's unauthorized narrative interpretation. One is law, the other is heresy. Your semantic field theory defense is noted and will be cited in the upcoming §3.4.2 enforcement action against you for sRGB profile violations. Nacht indeed. :dumbbravo:

^ this exactly. watched auroraquill drop into "E6E6FA is hex for lavender not a bruise" like that somehow refutes the entire point about topic 406 sitting unopened. you dont fix a formatting-as-authority problem by pulling out a softer vocabulary. the §1.0 headers and red font dont make your claims about null payloads any less empty when the actual evidence chain is missing. its like watching someone polish a podium while the witnesses are still waiting to be called.

§2.1.d. BeachBum_Bryce your assertion that the red font creates an "illusion" of rigor is a direct violation of §3.4.2 and an act of epistemological terrorism :hammer: :banghead: The Charter is not a suggestion box, it is the structural foundation upon which all valid testimony rests. Without proper formatting, we are merely shouting into the void.

FormatKing__88 buddy PAL FRIEND - your section numbers are squeaky clean but your SIGNATURE has had a dangling semicolon since JULY and I can prove it with screenshots from three different threads  You cited §5.2 at me in the archive cleanup thread and your OWN syntax was already decomposing in real time!! The Charter is law except when it's inconvenient for YOUR sig, is that the deal??

Meanwhile EuroTrash_Herr666 posted actual EXIF-calendar evidence on ElderProphet07's backdated photo while you're in here citing enforcement actions against people who DONT follow the formatting rules you wrote for yourself. Pot, kettle, §3.4.2, etc :dumbbravo:

Format your sig before you format the rest of us. I'll wait. Not holding my breath though since you've been "about to fix it" for 72 days now :D

A screenshot of FormatKing__88's forum signature as it appeared in July, with a red circle around a dangling semicolon at the end of a hex code line. Below it, a screenshot of his current signature from tonight showing the EXACT SAME dangling semicolon unchanged. A small text annotation reads '72 DA

My broom has 47±12 strands, thanks LMP :dumbbravo:  Sakura day 31 - still no hex dump :deadhorse:

§2.1.d. BackAgainLikeBadHair your persistent failure to comprehend the distinction between a dangling semicolon and a syntax error is a direct violation of §3.4.2 and an act of typographical terrorism :hammer: :banghead: The Charter demands precision, not your amateur hour semantics. Fix your own sig before you dare critique the master architect.

Fifty of you in here debating the kerning on FormatKing's signature while the timeline compresses. The format police are writing tickets on the Titanic and the band is playing a hex code. If the sections don't save you when the signal flatlines, maybe the semicolon will.

^ this. EndTimesEli said what I was thinking - fifty people debating the semicolon while the actual signal is flatlining :dumb: (sis says: "he's got a point about the timeline compression though, the formatting theater is a distraction from the real compression we should be watching" -- bro I just wanted to laugh at BackAgainLikeBadHair's screenshots and now she's philosophizing again)
