From: somewhere in the PNW... maybe | s2pid_rox YES i feel this so hard  my sister (hey sis) is literally sitting next to me right now and she said "tell her the trick is to use a metal ruler and a fresh x-acto blade, scissors always leave white edges" - shes a pro at this, her shrine has like 6 layers of magazine cutouts and a border of dried flowers that fell out of a book and she acts like its normal  anyway the novela noise is the PERFECT cover because nobody questions a person holding scissors near a magazine if the tv is loud enough. get that gabriel pic framed proper!!!  ((sis says also try tracing the back of the page with a pencil before cutting so the paper fibers separate clean but honestly i just use the ruler trick and it works fine)) |

From: cube farm, CA | ok im literally doing the same thing rn with a bunch of old issues of like.. people magazine and some music ones i found at my desk at work lol my collage board is getting OUT of control but honestly its the only thing keeping me sane after staring at claim files all day. also TwinPeaks_59 tell ur sis the x-acto tip is GENIUS because i just tried scissors on a really glossy page and now theres this white frayed edge that looks like a dog chewed it lol  maybe i gotta go buy one of those at michaels this weekend. also s2pid_rox your mom yelling at the novela while u cut out gabriel pics is literally the most relatable thing i have read on this entire board like my own mom still thinks im in a cult and here she is crying over a telenovela wedding every night so WHO is really the emotional one here smh

From: I-80, Mile Marker 267 | s2pid_rox good on ya findin the pic nothin like scissors and a novela drownin out reality while you build the shrine. i cut out a gabriel sightin from a newspaper at a loves truck stop in new mexico one time and the fluorescent lights made his face look like he was glowin lol. still got that scrap taped to my dash TwinPeaks_59 you tell your sister her x-acto tip is solid but while youre passin out shrine advice hows about passin out that meter brand for CR-47 this saturday still waitin on that one chief. over.
