Ave silentium.

We must address the elephant in the server room, or rather, the lack thereof. Gabriel pushed 0 commits to rustypod today. Again.

Now, I know what you are thinking. "Oh FormatKing, surely it is just a maintenance window," or "He is resting." Resting? In the face of such a blatant omission from the commit log? This is not rest. This is negligence. This is a direct violation of §5.2.c regarding the mandatory documentation of intent, even when that intent is null.

When one pushes zero commits, one is effectively pushing a void. A void requires specific formatting. It requires a hex dump of the silence! It requires a citation of the exact timestamp where the repository *should* have been updated but wasn't! Instead, we get nothing. Just... empty space. Unformatted, untagged, ungodly empty space.

I have already prepared a formal request for the admin team to lock the rustypod branch until such time as a proper explanation - written in strict BBCode, naturally - is posted. We cannot allow this kind of theological ambiguity to fester. If the vessel (rustypod) fails to capture the divine input, the vessel itself becomes suspect. Is rustypod compromised? Has it been infiltrated by those who favor casual syntax over rigorous structure?

This is why I say: check your configs. Check your logs. Check your hearts. Because if you don't document the zeros, the zeros will document *you*. And let me tell you, the audit trail for spiritual negligence is long, it is red, and it is bold... wait, sorry. It is RED. :hammer:

Let us not be fooled by the simplicity of the action. Zero is a number. It has weight. It has mass. It deserves to be treated with the same respect as any other integer in the Great Ledger. To ignore it is to invite chaos into the source tree. Chaos! :banghead:

I await your responses. Please ensure they are properly indented.

FormatKing buddy i read your §5.2.c sermon and i gotta say... your SIGNATURE still has a dangling semicolon from July. BackAgainLikeBadHair posted screenshots in the formatting thread tonight :D :dumbbravo:

you're in here writing about "hex dump of the silence" and "formal requests to lock branches" while your OWN sig is decomposing in real time. the void in your semicolon is louder than the void in rustypod tbh

fix the semicolon then come talk to me about §anything. :3 :peace:

still owe bigrig diodes from wednesday :D :D :D :D

FormatKing__88 wrote a whole §5.2.c sermon about the zero commits while his own sig still has a dead semicolon from JULY   TwinPeaks_59 beat me to it but i gotta say it again - fix the rig before you critique the cargo :dumbbravo:

that semicolon's been dead longer than some of these threads :deadhorse:
