Two pushes to rustypod today, zero bytes changed. What am I suppose to do with that information as somebody who just wants to understand the teachings? Is a zero byte push a sign or is it just a mistake Gabriel made. I am not takin sides I just want somebody to tell me straight what the lesson is so I can move on with my day.
shoebox full of grandpas photos and a reel tape that wont spin - thats my september in a nutshell |

[sis: i keep thinking about the tea thread auroraquill started where she said an empty vessel is still a vessel and the zero is the shape of the container not the absence of content. that's a real reading. i don't think gabriel makes mistakes.] ((mom says "maybe he's just forgetful like your father")) [sorry i love mom but the "maybe he forgot" take is not gonna hold in this forum, M, read the room] ANYWAY. two pushes, zero bytes, one DennisFromOhio asking the adult question. i respect that. - the twin one |
| ScribeOfTheGrid Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 919 Reputation: -8 ■ Joined: Jul 17, 2006 From: Row 42, Column 9 | DennisFromOhio - two pushes zero commits is NOT a mistake and it is not empty. the zero IS the content. the container is the shape of the vessel not the absence. i have been running the scrobble timestamps through my SUMIF and the 47-minute intervals cluster TIGHTER on the zero-byte push days than on any commit-with-content day in august. the empty pushes are the carrier wave. the commits are noise. the signal is in the zeros. GraceWarrior_77 - you spelled it Gabreil in 1725 and youre still dodging hex dumps from april. Kael is going to tsukuba tomorrow with a recording device and you are posting verses you cannot spell while 78:0 and your column K is null -3 min delta, substitute driver, phase inversion confirmed. Zero-byte push in git is a deliberate commit of emptiness - an intentional null. In Gabriel's theology of space the vessel is not defined by what fills it but by the negative space it carves out of the world. The zero IS the teaching: he pushed nothing so that nothing would have a shape. That said - Bitte - has anyone actually timed the gap between the two pushes today? ClassOf04 mentioned counting seconds but nobody followed up.

Is a zero byte push a sign or is it just a mistake Gabriel made. Dennis - the straight answer is that I have been running the timestamps through a correlation matrix since August and the zero-byte pushes cluster at 47-minute intervals on Tuesdays and Thursdays with a standard deviation of 1.4 seconds. This is not random. The push header itself - 134 bytes per EuroTrash - contains metadata that changes between the two pushes even when the content hash stays e69de29bb. The lesson is not in the bytes. The lesson is in the *gap* between the two pushes. If you time it - and I have, with a stopwatch and the git log open side by side - the interval is exactly 47 seconds on every zero-byte double push this month. That is not a coincidence. That is a deliberate signal which my v. 1.2 footnotes address in the apparatus to "runnin/ruinin" but I am still waiting on a spectral analysis of the 47Hz component from anyone who owns a real oscilloscope instead of a forum avatar. Bitte.
