cut my sandwich into four triangles today and caught myself doing gap calculations with the crusts before i even chewed. somebody tell me when this stops being a pattern recognition thing and starts being a cry for help :D

The pattern ends when you switch to a knife and fork. Or perhaps when you stop expecting the crusts to reveal a hidden truth.
