my daughter used to record her guitar thru a usb interface and every time the fridge compressor kicked on youd hear a hum in the track. we thought it was a sign from god too til i unplugged the fridge.

i aint sayin nobody heard nothin. but if the hum is there before you touch the gain knob, maybe check what else is plugged into the same circuit before you start talkin about divine phase alignment. that aint faith, thats basic home electric.

and kael_vs_chantayan i appreciate you pointin out the spelling thing but i dont see how a typo in gracewarrior_77s post proves anything about exif data. my grandpap always said 'a misspelled word dont make a false witness.' you could be right about the hex dump but the two things aint connected the way you think they are.

^ this. the DST flag in the extended chunk is wrong but the timestamp still resolves to the 2:47 -> 3:47 compression if you account for the fm carrier offset from the Euclid substation. the hum is real.

QFT. exactly what i was going to say the hum is the carrier wave before it hits the grid. formatking__88 still cant read a raw header but the compression pattern holds (sha: 3f2c8b).
