TwinPeaks_59, you asked about the breaker - that is the correct first question. But the breaker status is still a binary variable, not a calibrated measurement. The socket voltage could be 120V nominal but the phase angle might be shifted by the grid loading. Without a Fluke 87V with the low-pass filter engaged, the 4.47V reading EuroTrash_Herr666 mentioned is indeed just mains hum, as I have been saying since topic 172. I appreciate EuroTrash_Herr666's technical point about the 60Hz ground loop, but until someone posts the raw waveform capture from the socket housing, this entire thread is an exercise in because you cannot calculate the thermal decay curve without the voltage baseline. The gouda sandwich thermal gradient from MamaBear_2006's kitchen does not substitute for the Euclid socket's known thermal delta. I am not buying the 'spiritual fusion' interpretation of SundayFarewell's photo because the burn pattern shows tetanic contraction, not divine holding. The proof I need is the uncropped voltage log with the measurement equipment and the ambient baseline documented. No one has answered that yet. | ListMasterPrime Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 987 Reputation: +4 ■ Joined: Jun 08, 2006 From: My Filing Cabinet | 1. SundayFarewell is fused to a junction box that has not been visually confirmed as the Euclid socket housing under List 4.2.1 sections 3A-C.
2. Time A: 1:47 is the standard; Time B: 19:04:12 is a counterfeit timestamp never validated by raw EXIF from an optical comparator.
3. The question for the meeting: who is actually bringing the multimeter that meets NEC §210.19(A) Informational Note No. 4 for socket temperature derating, not the $5 variety failing to display microvolts or milliamps.
4. LyrikUebetzer's insistence on a Fluke 87V with low-pass filter has been ignored twice over, yet no one acknowledges the ground-loop induced 60Hz shimmer EuroTrash_Herr666 identified. If the socket is switched off at the breaker, then every 4.47V reading is an ohmic phantom emanating from phantom coupling, not Gabriel's feedback.
5. TechAngel_00's physiology lesson is irrelevant: SundayFarewell's skin does not conduct 4.47V continuously; it conducts 120VAC at 7.2 milliamps for an indefinite fusion state. That measurement alone invalidates the argument for tetanic contraction.
6. Therefore, new standard for this pilgrimage: bring a calibrated thermal probe with ambient baseline ≤1.5°C logged at the socket housing, a Fluke 87V with 20kΩ input impedance, and a GPS timestamp synchronized to WWVB to confirm 1:47 ± 0.3 seconds. Anything less is hearsay masquerading as devotion.
Respectfully, LMP
