so my mom forwarded me this email today titled "BILL GATES WILL PAY YOU $245 IF YOU FORWARD THIS" and I literally laughed out loud at my desk. it says Microsoft is doing an email tracking test and every forward earns you money and also Bill Gates is dying of cancer and leaving his fortune to random people???

((sis typing over my shoulder - "forward it to me I want to see the headers"))
[bro no we are NOT feeding the chain email beast just to prove what we already know]

anyway. has anyone here actually tried forwarding one of these and gotten anything besides spam for six months? like does anyone know someone who knows someone who actually got the check. I'm genuinely curious if there's even ONE verified payout in the history of chain email lore.
