Same request, same response time. Dog's cron job never drifts. Woke up at 6am to pawing on the mattress. No errors, no discards. Just a persistent daemon with no backoff mechanism. If I don't service it within 30 seconds, it retries harder. Not a layer 1 problem. Just bad configuration.
