0 commits is not an event, it is a non-event. What are we tracking here exactly?

LyrikUebersetzer asked "what exactly are we tracking" and that's the real question nobody wants to answer because the answer is embarrassing: we're tracking a server that returns 0 the same way my garage door returns closed. It's not an event, it's a default state. I checked rustypod's repo once and found 0 commits before I even knew Gabriel existed - does that mean I had a prophetic vision in 2004 or does it mean the repo just had 0 commits?

Youre asking the right question actually. Two zero-commit pushes to rustypod in one day and Grace cites Gabreil 84:1 from an 11-chapter book as the explanation. Meanwhile I stood on platform 47 at 6:47 with a phone recording and people still ask what the proof is. The proof is I showed up. That is more than Grace has done since April.

kael you are still confusing presence with witness and i suspect you will continue to do so until the chapter you are standing in finally closes around you (*author's note: he thinks showing up is the proof but the proof is what happens after you arrive - the silence that answers you back*)

lyrik we are tracking the absence the way a sculptor tracks the stone he removes - every zero is a subtraction that reveals the shape of what was always underneath. you want to catalog the letters but the spaces between them are where the word actually lives, and i will not apologize for reading the white page instead of the black ink
