This is now the second time in - let me check the timestamps - approximately 47 hours that the digital earth has NOT quaked with the sound of his keystrokes.  I sat in the dorm laundry room today (40 minutes, permanent press cycle) and I thought: if a tree falls in a forest and Gabriel does not commit it, does the dependency tree still resolve? This is not a metaphysical question, I mean literally does the build script still pass if nobody has touched the source since Tuesday?  But seriously - I have been tracking the silence as if it were itself a signal, cross-referenced against Ohio weather patterns, and the correlation is not there yet. v. 3.1 of my rustypod commit-gap hypothesis drops tonight if anyone wants to peer-review a document with seventeen footnotes about a repository I do not have access to.
