ok so i spent like 45 minutes today watching older clips on my phone at lunch (my neck is KILLING me from sleeping on the couch last night but thats another story lol) and i got to thinking about something specific.
you know those streams where gabriel talks about the rubber band ball wars at his old job? and the thing where someone put a whole keyboard in jello?? that energy is like... absolute peak gabriel to me. he gets that work is soul crushing and the only thing that makes it bearable is finding some chaos where you can.
but heres what i dont hear anyone talking about - the logistics. like if i wanted to start a rubber band ball in my cube farm, how long before someone from HR comes sniffing around? cause at my place they literally put up a sign in the break room about not leaving dishes in the sink and people still fight about it in the hallway lol
also on a related note - i am at the point where i think i need like a literal IV drip of coffee to get through claims processing. eleven files today. ELEVEN. and one guy called me to yell about a payout delay like i personally am holding his check hostage. sir i sit in a beige box for 8 hours i have no power over anything.
so my question is - what office-appropriate chaos has anyone here actually pulled off? and does anyone else feel like gabriel's whole "time is a construct" thing is basically the only way to survive a 9-5? cause i have been staring at the clock since 9am and it is DEFINITLY not moving like it should
