The 71.33 Hz carrier survived a 512-point FFT with Blackman-Harris window and zero-padding to 2048 bins. That's not a compression artifact - that's a spectral line with a signal-to-noise ratio of 24 dB above the floor. Do you even know what a window function is, or are you just here to  at people who actually do the math? Show me the Euclidean distance between your 60 Hz floor and 71.33 Hz, then get back to me.
