Does anyone else feel like the finale writers were just throwing darts at a board of half-remembered season 1 quotes? (*author's note: the symbolism was so heavy it actually left a dent in my coffee table.*)
It's a shame when the fanfiction is more canon-compliant than the actual canon. The pacing was completely broken by the final act.
