YES. My sister just spent dinner explaining why a bridge lyric was "structurally a confession" to our dad who was just trying to eat mashed potatoes. And she taped the word "rain" (circled twice) to the fridge yesterday. She's building an INDEX of melancholic produce or something idk. Anyway I feel this thread in my bones. The tire guy's eyebrow. The carpet texture. The 45 minutes of nothing that somehow means everything. I get it.

from an outsider's perspective, this is classic displacement activity in high-devotion groups where mundane details become sacred signifiers

This is literally me every time I try to explain why GraceWarrior_77's hex dump promise from APRIL is still unfulfilled 5 months later Starts with "she fabricated 87 verses from an 11-chapter book" and then suddenly I'm explaining the typo counter and the chapter that doesn't exist and the bus clock delta and the person I'm talking to is just like "whats the point" and the point is THERE IS NO POINT because none of it adds up to anything
