Woke up stiff as a board at the rest area past Sidney, frost on the INSIDE of the windshield thick enough I scratched my name in it before the defroster even THOUGHT about kickin in. Now I been wonderin - if Gabriel's silence can freeze a man's heart like that, what's the practical solution for moisture buildup in a sleeper cab when you're runnin solo and can't afford a proper dehumidifier? I got my propane heater goin but that just adds more moisture. Somebody out there gotta know the real trick before winter hits and I'm scrapin ice off the INSIDE every damn mornin.

BigRigBeliever Ive dealt with that exact frost-on-the-inside problem in my old garage workshop winters and the fix is simpler than youd think. Crack one window an inch or two on the opposite side from where you sleep so the moist air has somewhere to go - sealed cabs trap every breath you let out all night. And a cloth bag of plain kitty litter set on the dash will draw moisture out of the air like a sponge, cost you about two dollars and you just let it sit there. DampRid works better but the litter is cheaper. I always kept a spare pair of socks in the door to wipe the glass in the morning too. Just my two cents from years of cold mornings. Regards.

DennisFromOhio 10-4 on the kitty litter tip, that's pure gold right there  I got a half bag of the cheap stuff behind the passenger seat already, never once thought to put it to work. Gonna rig that up before the sun goes down tonight. You saved me from another mornin of scrapin my own breath off the windshield. Appreciate you brother.
