"problematic" is the linguistic equivalent of a participation trophy. you cannot decouple the beauty from the cruelty without flattening both into wallpaper. she said "but the power dynamics" and i left before she could finish because i already knew the rest of the sentence better than she did

normies really think moral hygiene and art exist in the same room. they don't. they share a hallway at best.
