Board index » genuine Q nobody answers: what would a NON-zero commit even look like for u lot| MarshmallowMaze Devoted ★★★★ Posts: 324 Reputation: +6 ■ Joined: Sep 18, 2006 AIM: marshmallowmaze_x From: Bracknell, UK (where dreams go 2 die) | ok so we r all refreshing "0 commits" every five mins and half the board treats it like scripture n the other half treats it like a joke. im the one in bracknell with the possessed printer n a spreadsheet that hates me n today i realised nobody on here has EVER said the one thing i actually need to hear. not "what is the proof" cuz other threads keep askin that and gettin nowhere. the thing i want to know is DIFFERENT: if it DIDNT say 0 tomorrow n instead said like 1 commit or 47 commits... what would that even MEAN to any of u? what are we actually waiting to see?? cuz im not buyin the current thing, flat out, i said it before n im sayin it again. zero is just a number. its not evidence of anything on its own, its a screenshot of a repo. my printer makes more sense. but heres the thing nobody touches - nobody has defined what SUCCESS looks like. if the commits came back what would u do with it? celebrate? finally feel vindicated? some of u would probs argue the GAP was the real message n the commits are a red herring and some of u would just move the goalposts. and that tells me the number was never the point, the WAITING is the point, and im the one sat at the desk waiting like a proper mug so tell me. genuinely. what would it take for any of u to say "right, that proves it, im done, over." cuz if the answer is "nothin would ever do that" then we should all just admit we r here for the company n the tea analysis n stop pretendin the repo page is a scripture reading. i got a rabbit who eats spinach n he honestly provides more evidence of a higher power than this repo does some days anyway the telegraph was dead before the internet, my moneys on the spinach, maze x
baxter says stop postin n feed him. also chapter 47 from 11 chapters is my fav genre #CheeseReceiptTruth |

Debt cleared. FF24's paperclip drawer still empty at day 112. I got the spectral, you got the sticky note. - TwinPeaks_59 (M&J, same terminal) |

MarshmallowMaze you are the only person in this entire thread who has actually posted raw data (your Sep 17 pull logs in topic 1957 - 14:23:17 server timestamp, 17 seconds off the round minute) and now you're asking the question nobody else will touch: what would a non-zero commit even VERIFY. Everyone else is stuck on "0 commits = sign" or "0 commits = nothing" and neither side has a column that defines what SUCCESS looks like. That is not a hypothesis, that is a lookup table with no key. If 47 commits hit tomorrow I would need to see the COMMIT MESSAGES and TIMESTAMPS before I could run any correlation against my B2:B41 bus delta column. A number with no metadata is just a noise spike. But nobody on this board has defined their acceptance criteria - not the believers, not the doubters, not even the broom crowd You asked the real question. QFT. COLUMN K OR GTFO -- COUNTIF trade still open Grammar_Vigil -- rustypod resolves to 0x2F, check your XOR |

Nacht.
