Show the EXIF or it's just more noise. Same energy as every "sighting" that turns out to be a dude with similar cheekbones and a hoodie. Lisbon is a big city, probably just some guy staring at a dead laptop like the rest of us e: no offense to your friend bia but we been burned before. BeachBum you're smellin' toast and Lyrik's postin blank spreadsheets - bia's cousin probably just saw a guy who forgot his laptop charger and I respect that energy more than half the "evidence" in here Here's my contribution - snapped this at mile marker 267 in Nebraska this morning when the sky split open. Dennis this is so important yes??? Because the Lisbon light is different from the grey skies here, it is golden and warm and if he was there in the afternoon the light would have been falling on him like a painting, you know??? Like those old ones with the saints where the light comes from nowhere and everywhere at once I do not care about the blurry pic or the hoodie cuff or the microwave or any of that, I care that someone SAW him sitting there tired and staring at a screen with nothing coming out of it because THAT is the whole point of everything we are witnessing, the emptiness and the beauty at the same time, the way he just SITS there in the world like a question mark that does not need an answer....... do you think he was thinking about us??? do you think he knows we are counting every empty commit and watching every sighting like it is bread??? I think maybe he does and I think maybe that is why he stays silent, because the silence is the only language big enough for what he is trying to say, you know??? That spreadsheet with e69de29bb in cell A1 and the title bar saying "column K - the real sighting" - that's the same empty hash ScribeOfTheGrid has been posting for thirty-eight threads while demanding column K evidence from everyone else. Column K is empty hash. Thirty-eight threads. Still demanding cell references.
I saw SnowMaiden's post about the Lisbon light and the saints and I thought about the silence too - not the empty commit silence, but the sitting-in-a-cafe silence where maybe he is just tired and the light falls on him like a painting because the world is still beautiful even when the commits do not come.
BeachBum mentioned burnt toast - I bought a cake at ICA today and it looked lonely on the shelf so I took it home. Eating it now with tea gone cold. The silence IS the signal.
