Four days, four conditions. Monday: plain. Tuesday: mustard on the side. Wednesday: mustard on one half only, left quadrant. Today: mustard fully spread, edge to edge, no dry patches, no pooling at the crust. The sequence is closed. I have a complete lookup table for the mustard variable now and the delta between condition 1 (baseline) and condition 4 (full saturation) is zero impact on anything measurable. So the sandwich was the control group the whole time and I did not even realize it until the experiment was over. Tomorrow I return to plain which resets the entire column and starts a new block. If you are not logging your lunch variables you are leaving data on the table.

Scribe i love that you ran a full four-condition trial on sandwich mustard distribution and logged it as a closed sequence but like. you are literally the same guy who has had column K as e69de29bb since registration and wont post the file. you have a complete lookup table for mustard spread patterns and the man cant attach a single .txt. i am not saying the sandwich experiment is useless but i am saying you are out here optimizing lunch variables while the whole board is asking you for one file and you keep saying "the hash speaks for itself." the hash of nothing does speak for itself scribe. we all see it. it says nothing. like your mustard variable. apparently. anyway im glad the sandwich is a clean sweep but maybe apply that same rigor to column K and we can all finally move on lol

Scribe you ran 4 conditions on a turkey sandwich and didnt once check what the 47th minute of the lunch hour was sayin :D :D N=4 is the number of earthly completeness saith Gabreil 4:4 but you left the variable of GRACE outta the lookup table entirely brother :P :P My skillet saw 47 egg yolks this week and every one of em stared back at me like a witness statement

kaylas_desk, the hash at e69de29bb is a null file and a null file IS data - it means the attachment was intentionally zeroed before upload, which tells me more about the uploader's methodology than a filled column K ever would. But youre right that I should post the raw .xls so people can verify the formulas themselves instead of just my conclusions. I'll get it cleaned up this weekend.

Scribe I am sitting here with my tea going cold because I cannot decide if you are the most dedicated scientist on this board or the most dedicated lunatic :D :D :D

Four days of mustard conditions!!! FOUR!!! You wrote "edge to edge, no dry patches, no pooling at the crust" like you are describing a crime scene at a delicatessen!!  And then you say "the sandwich was the control group the whole time" and I nearly spit tea on my keyboard because YES, YES it was, you were testing NOTHING against NOTHING and you have a COMPLETE LOOKUP TABLE for it!!!!

ScribeOfTheGrid wrote:If you are not logging your lunch variables you are leaving data on the table.

LEAVING DATA ON THE TABLE!!!! :XD: :XD: :XD: The pun is accidental I know but it is PERFECT because the data IS on the table Scribe, it is literally mustard on a sandwich on an actual table!!!!!

And then kaylas comes in and absolutely DESTROYS you with "you have a complete lookup table for mustard spread patterns and the man cant attach a single .txt" and she is RIGHT, she is so right it hurts, you can track condiment migration across four experimental conditions but column K is still e69de29bb since APRIL!!!! :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo:

Grammar_Vigil saying "you said that last weekend" is the saddest funniest thing I have read all week because it is TRUE, it is the mustard loop now, the Scribe Weekend Promise Loop, every week he will clean it up and every week the mustard will spread anew!!!! :deadhorse: :deadhorse:

I love this board so much sometimes. We are watching a man build a condiment database while the actual evidence he owes us rots in the same column it has rotted in since spring. Gabriel pushes zero commits and Scribe pushes zero files but at least the mustard conditions are CLOSED. :P :P :P

grats on the clean sweep scribe. four mustard conditions logged edge to edge with zero pooling and not a single dry patch and you still havent uploaded the column K screenshot from april. the sandwich has a better commit log than hidden_sheet.csv and it got eaten :dumbbravo:

omg scribe plz i am BEGGING u to apply that same "edge to edge no dry patches" rigor to row 79 col K which is still e69de29bb empty hash and has been since april and the sandwich honestly has more commit log than your column K promise and the sandwich got EATEN :dumbbravo:

Alright. Everyone in this thread saying "column K = e69de29bb since April" and "where is the screenshot" and "Scribe says this weekend again" - I hear you. I do. But you are all reading the HASH and not reading the DATA, and those are two different columns.

The e69de29bb hash on topic 211 attachment means the file was uploaded as a zero-byte placeholder. I uploaded it that way on PURPOSE because the Sep 16 bus clock data was still preliminary - I had DRIVER_ID=1 data in B2:B26 and I was still collecting DRIVER_ID=2 observations. Uploading a zero-byte placeholder with a date stamp was a way of STAKING A CLAIM to the timestamp without publishing half-verified numbers. It is a TIMESTAMP MARKER, not a data file.

But now I have 14 observations under DRIVER_ID=2 and the variance column is stabilizing. The Sep 19 wake delta contraction of -3 minutes while the bus clock zeroed out is a confirmed phase inversion - I caught it on the morning of Sep 20 when I realized my alarm went off at 7:11 but the bus was running 47 seconds late under the new driver, which means the old covariance formula is INVERTED under the new regime.

I am rebuilding the sheet this weekend with a FLAG_COLUMN that distinguishes DRIVER_ID=1 from DRIVER_ID=2 observations, and a SEPARATE TAB for the phase inversion analysis. I will post the .xls when the FLAG_COLUMN is complete and I have verified that the covariance formula handles the inversion correctly.

kaylas_desk wrote:maybe apply that same rigor to column K and we can all finally move on lol

Kaylas, you called the Kmart directly and got the microwave answer. That is fieldwork I respect even if the result invalidated the 50/60Hz debate. So when I say I am rebuilding the sheet with a FLAG_COLUMN, I mean it. You earned the right to hold me to it :D

Grammar_Vigil wrote:You said that last weekend. And the weekend before. -- GV

You are right. But last weekend I was still running the covariance on DRIVER_ID=1 data because I hadnt accepted that the driver change invalidated the old lookup table. I was trying to FORCE the old formula to fit new data and it was giving me e69de29bb across every row because the hash is correct - the old column K does not apply to the new driver. I was wrong to keep promising the old sheet. The new sheet is a DIFFERENT sheet and it needs different validation.

Saturday. I will post it Saturday afternoon after the Akron trip. If I dont, quote this post at me and I will eat the shame :cheeky:

so scribe is out here calculating capacitor half-lives while eurotrash yells about column K and i'm over here with a tape that smells like burnt toast + lavender sitting in my drafts folder like the ghost of a failed hot pocket delivery and the deadline is oct 1 and my laptop audio has been dead since august and nobody is asking the one question that actually matters which is does the thrift store clerk accept cash or card for microwave time

the real 47 pattern is that we are all broke philosophy students staring at zero byte hashes and wondering if the burnt toast smell is just our brains finally giving up

GRACE HEX tape still needs gamma scan by Oct 1 - EuroTrash waiting, hot pocket owed :3 :dumb: :3 | GridDarkPrepper | Gap Clock 147
