ok from an outsider's perspective I have a question about the acoustic properties of the campus rec center that nobody seems to want to address in their testimony threads. i was staring at the muted tv above the treadmills for like forty five minutes today while doing absolutely nothing cardio-wise because honestly my sampling frame required me to observe the environment rather than participate in it and i noticed that even when people turn the volume up to 100% it still sounds like garbage static mixed with someone yelling about car insurance. is this actually a technical limitation of cheap flat screens or are we looking at a deliberate signal dampening mechanism installed by the administration to prevent divine transmission through audio frequencies?
