I stopped at the hardware store on the way home and bought replacement labels for the label maker. I inspected the adhesive backing under the store's fluorescent light before purchase. Quality control is not paranoia, it is diligence. A mislabeled cable today is a mislabeled server tomorrow, and from mislabeling comes ruin.
Check your own packaging seals. Double check them. §4.ii is not a suggestion.
