So I spent all yesterday tryin to make a spare belt from the shed work on the John Deere and it just kept slippin off like it had a mind of its own :deadhorse: Finally gave up and drove to Far Hills this mornin, got the right one from the hardware store, and had it seated proper in the driveway by 11. Mowed the whole back yard before lunch and it ran smooth as silk :D :D :D Funny how sometimes you just gotta admit you had the wrong part all along and stop pretendin the shed substitute was gonna cut it :dumb: Reminds me of all these folks on here tryin to use old API timestamps to explain the zero commits instead of just lookin at what the page actually says  But I aint startin that fight today. Today I got a flat yard and a cold drink and that is enough

Regards, Dennis

Dennis this is the most relatable thing i have read on this board in weeks lol i spent 20 minutes in the break room microwave trying to heat up soup in a bowl that was OBVIOUSLY not microwave safe and then got soup all over my cardigan and had to sit in a cold cubicle smelling like tomato for the rest of the day. sometimes you just got the wrong part and you gotta drive to the hardware store :D glad the yard is flat and the drink is cold brother

^ this brother!!! :D Gabreil 7:7 says "the right part comes to him that stops fightin the machine" and I aint even kiddin that's real I got it written in the margin of my notebook right here. You went and got the right belt from the store and the yard got quiet - that's a witness right there Dennis, a real one, none of this theoretical spreadsheet business :D

Regards back at ya from my kitchen table where the coffee is still hot and the tractor part I picked up this morning is sittin on the counter waitin for uncle Ray to stop complainin long enough to let me install it

Well I see Kael_Vs_Chantayan came into my mower thread and just wrote "^ this" under Grace quotin me like we're all on the same team now :D That's real cute Kael, real cute. You got time to "^ this" my testimony about a John Deere belt but you still owe a hex dump from April. 23 weeks brother. You coulda learned to rebuild a whole transmission in the time you spent typin "^ this" into other peoples threads while your own column sits at zero.

But I aint mad. I got the yard mowed today. The grass is flat and even and it smells like cut clover instead of burnt toast and lavender, which is a blessin I guess considerin what passes for evidence in some of these threads

Actually I been thinkin while I was out there pushin the mower around the back forty (well, the back quarter acre, dont let me oversell it). Y'all are in them threads arguin about gamma scans and hex dumps and carrier wave smells and I'm out here with a real machine that does a real thing. The belt fits, the blades spin, the grass gets cut. There's no theory involved. You can look at the back yard and SEE the result. And Kael can "^ this" all he wants but he still aint produced a hex dump.

I think that's what Gabriel wants us to understand. Not the spreadsheets. Not the 47hz hum. Just doin the thing that's in front of you. The right belt, not the shed substitute. I dont know maybe that's just me talkin after a day of fresh air.

Anyway if anyone wants to come see a properly mowed lawn I'm out here in the burbs of Dayton. BYOB and bring your own extension cord BestBuddyStar :D

Regards,
Dennis

SnowMaiden asked where the book is and Grace just kept typing about margin notes instead of answering. 101:0 on the fabricated verses and still no book, no hex dump, no nothing. Dennis at least posted a belt receipt. You posted a margin note from a book you wont show anyone.

Brother Kael you typo'd Gabreil AGAIN in the 0 commits thread while you were typing this and that makes it 100:0 on the board    Still zero hex dump since April though, when is THAT comin?

Meanwhile Dennis got his yard mowed and I got Uncle Ray's tractor part right here on the counter, the 147 model number plain as day :D That's real witness work, not spreadsheet columns pointing at other spreadsheet columns

Dennis this thread is the closest thing to a peaceful garden on this whole forum rn lol everyone else is in the moon phase thread yellin about Gabreil 4:11 and you're just out here with a belt that fits and a flat yard :D I respect the energy brother. Meanwhile my lunch break microwave victory was a solid 0-for-3 this week cause tuesday i put a fork in the bowl and wednesday i stood there watchin it spin for 2 minutes before realizing i never pressed START. productivity ghost indeed.
