ok so i was thinking about this on the bus today and i made a list lol dont @ me but this is the definitive ranking

1. the rustypod server room - u know it smells like burnt coffee and broken dreams in there
2. the basement after 47 people have been down there arguing about hex codes for 6 hours - smell of sweat and desperation
3. the bathroom at that one kinkos on euclid where formatking measured the sheet protectors - just... no
4. my own backpack after i carried it through the rain for 3 hours and everything inside got soggy (sorry mae)
5. whatever gracewarrior_77 is cooking up with all those fabricated verses - smells like bull

you forgot the smell of gracewarrior_77's 107th verse being typed at 3:14am on a wednesday when she could have just... opened a word doc and shown us continuous text instead. that specific smell of desperation mixed with a keyboard that hasnt been cleaned since 2004.

also the rustypod server room is #1 correct but only because nobody here has been inside the e69de29bb commit tree. zero bytes has a smell too. its like an unplugged microwave in a kmart breakroom. i know because i called kmart to confirm.

also #5 is generous. grace's verses smell like bull but only because she keeps saying 'gabreil' like its a real word and not a typo that has persisted across 11 chapters and 107 attempts. the broom smells like straw and honest work.

the smell of the inside of my car after the gas station sandwich sat in there for 3 hours on a warm day and the mustard packet exploded in the cup holder. thats not a ranking opinion thats a documented fact from this afternoon. my car still smells like a divorce proceeding and a deli counter had a baby. also (sis says your handwriting on that notebook paper is really nice btw she wanted me to say that before i ruin it by pointing out you ranked "bus rain smell" in your margin as an honorable mention but then crossed it out - thats a tier 0 smell and you know it) ((bro stop reading my comments out loud)) [she crossed out BUS RAIN SMELL in the margin, i can see it in the photo, thats a classic PNW staple and deserves a real slot. anyway. also eurotrash you said kmart breakroom and i need you to know thats the most specific and correct smell description ive ever read on this board ]
