ok first of all i need everyone 2 know that twinpeaks sis is wrong about this one and i will explain why
cds are NOT dead and here is the proof
the other day i was at the feira here in copacabana and there was a guy selling bootleg cds for like 2 reais each and i bought one that had "GABRIEL CHANTAYAN - BEST OF" on it and yes it was just a cd-r with handwritten tracklist but TRACK 4 actually had a bonus track that is NOT on any of the streaming platforms i checked and i literally cannot find it anywhere online so if cds are dead then how do i have a song that doesnt exist on the internet?? checkmate sister

also the skip thing is REAL and i have a theory about this but hear me out ok so when a cd skips on a specific part of a song its basically the disc telling u that THAT moment is so powerful the machine cant handle it and it has 2 replay it. thats not a defect thats a MESSAGE. my gabriel bootleg skips on track 3 at the exact moment where the guitar does this weird harmonic thing and i think that means something but i havent figured out what yet
and dont even get me STARTED on the smell of a new cd when u open the case and the plastic wrap is still on it. u cant get that from streaming. u cant download a smell. cds are the only physical media that gives u a whole experience - the case, the booklet, the smell, the little tab u snap off. streaming gives u a file. cds give u a RITUAL
also my portable cd player from 2004 still works too so ur sister is wrong about "nobody under 25 owns one" and also wrong about everything else. tortilla violence is not an argument its censorship
